If your burning it to a disc, it means you have no choice but to burn it to a Dual Layer disc.

In that case, there's nothing specific you need to do to make it work on a PS3.

Drag the BDMV folder into ImgBurn and that's all you need to you. It must be the BDMV folder. If you have the BDMV folder in another folder (i.e. Demodisk/BDMV/....) and you try to drag that folder, then ImgBurn will likely not flag it is a bluray disc.

That warning window will only pop up if the Options->FileSystem UDF option is set to a value less than 2.50, or not set to UDF at all.

Other than that you drag the BDMV and CERTIFICATE directories to the input area.

Make sure that recurse directories is set. Otherwise the amount of space used on the disc will be pretty much zero.

Do you guys recall a bluray demo disc that came out a couple of years ago here at AVS?

If so, do you know how I can get one?
I got it to work.
I went looking for the torrent link in the first post, but unfortunately it is not there.

Could someone please let me know where I can get the torrent file from ?

Thanks.

It's reported regularly. Go back one page, then two, then three, anD I'm sure you'll turn it up.

Maybe it is just me, but I usually expect to see these sort of things in the first post, or at least on the first page of the thread.

Now to go on a hunt through all those posts to find it.

It really isn't that many pages back. Scuba didn't post it, another member did. It is a utorrent file that is downloaded from a share site. I do not remember what page it is on.

Both V1 and V2.

You still looking for these? I only have V2.

It was a few pages back, but it allowed me to see possibly why it isn't in the first post.

Grabbing it now.

If useing a external hard drive use MultiAVCHD. For a DVD you must use the patch.

There is no way to patch this disc for a DVD. This disc is a full bluray (dual layer) and cannot fit onto a DVD. Patches for burning bluray content to a DVD disc are only if the Bluray contents being burned will actually fit on the DVD disc.

yes a DVD DL. Use the patch that came in the file. For use on a PS3 you must use the patch.

No. Not this disc. A DL DVD is approx 9gigs. This disc is approx 50gig. You're confusing this with Leo's project where he released 5 sectional discs that will fit onto a DVD-9.

You're posting in the wrong thread, then.

Does anybody sell the demo disk in bluray? I don't have a bluray burner and I would prefer it in bluray. Thanks

No one sells the disc. That's not strictly legal.

Hello all,

I would love a copy of this demo. I am new to Home Theater Sales. Please let me know if anyone could get me this demo disc. I would love to have the ease of the 1 disc to show people coming into the store multiple clips quickly.

I have checked the link.... It has been removed by hosting party.

Thank you in advance,
Shawn

Any help on getting this to stream? Once downloaded what needs to be done to get it to stream properly. I dont want to burn to a disk.
Turn it into an ISO and use VCD (free) from SlySoft to load it in Windows. It will then appear to Windows as a physical disc and you can use whatever bluray software you wish to play it.

Hi Everybody,

Can someone here straighten me out with the discs that have been created, who created them and possibly disc and cover art... and possibly which forum thread for each one too??

I'm wondering how many BD demo disc torrents there are out there. I've been seeding one with .RAR files in a folder called "Rar Archive" for some time now... what disc is this one?

I've also got another folder with files I have downloaded called "RAR_Bass_Disc" which also appears to be a demo disc of some kind... I no longer have a torrent file for this content. If someone can point me to a torrent file I will start seeding again.

I'm happy to seed as much as I can if it will help.

Michael.

I think the rar archive one you're talking about is the one by scubasteve, and the other one you were talking about is from this thread :-

Thanks for that... it's starting to make a bit of sense now.
I've also found a folder on my media server called :-

Home Theater Demonstration Bluray V2.0

With BD content and cover art.

Is this a ScubaSteve "production"?

Guys, would anyone be willing to copy this material on to a disk for me. I'll pay for your time and the disk. Really want a Blu-ray demo disk...but I couldn't be bothered to download 40+ GB of material. Please PM if you can.

Hi cybrsage, this all new to me. Is this method (if I understand correctly) to change format and store it on my computer (I guess the Hard Drive), then be able to stream this material to PS3 through Window Media Player via Network?
If so, can you post a step by step on how to do this. I had try the thumb drive technique method at the other thread (Reference Blu-Ray Demo Disc) and was unsuccessful.
