Home Theater Demo Disc - Version 2.0 - Page 50

Hmm, the one I am seeding is the original uncompressed version. It has been forever since I used uTorrent, so I'm not sure how to promote the one here that I am seeding.

You downloaded Version 1. Version one was packed into RAR files while Version 2 is just the standard BDMV file structure. Also, version two download is close to 48GB.

Thanks.

I must have downloaded it earlier and didn't realize it.

Do you have to sign up on the mediafire website in order to download?
Shouldn't need a sign up just download the torrent tracker to your harddrive, then rename/remove the .TXT extension and then open it with your torrent client to start the the disc download.

Wait two to three days... enjoy smile.gif

Don't forget to thank Steve for a great disc.

Thanks for the great disc.
Finally able to download them after a long wait.
But my WD TV SMP is not able to play the files (individual m2ts files) properly. Any one tried playing these files on WD TV SMP? (Able to play them on VLC)

I also downloaded Superleo demo discs and those files are playing fine on my WD TV SMP.
Is there any way I can make these files too playable on my WD TV SMP?

I think I am also downloading the version 1 as i see tons of .rar files being downloaded. Where can i download version 2? Are there significant differences between the 2?

For Version 2, on the MediaFire website, when clicking the green download button....nothing happens. Am I missing something?

See post 1476 and use the link from the first page of the thread--if you aren't getting the .txt file then something is wrong and best bet would be to try a different browser.

Sometimes MF needs a few tries before to will allow the file to be downloaded. Once you click the green button it will try, if it doesn't work it will turn grey and say try again. Click try again and usually it kicks in.

Is anyone seeding disc 1?

Little help will be highly appreciated!
I just downloaded v2 of this awesome file. I have to say, what a dream!! I'm playing the file from a flash drive through my Oppo BDP-103 without a hitch. This is a must-have for any HT fan. Not only do the clips in each category aptly prove why they belong in their respective categories, they are also all flat-out enjoyable to watch. A special thanks to ScubaSteve for putting together.

(SuperLeo's is now downloading. I can't wait to experience that one next.)

To the folks that are currently seeding disc one...............thanks a lot!

I'm currently at 71.1%, so please keep seeding the files for a bit longer.

I've both ver1 and Ver2 blu-ray disc of this and just saying "thanks" to all those that worked on making these a reality.
Definitley a way to showcase my HT for family/friends, and also we've bought 3 blu-rays just by watching the clips and seeing how great those were.

Anybody else seeing the "File belongs to a suspended account." message when you try to download the torrent file? I'm not very familiar with mediafire, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. Can anybody help me get the torrent file for V1 and V2?

Thanks!

New refreshed links smile.gif
At the risk of sounding like an idiot, Is there a "how to" anywhere to tell me exactly how to get this disc ?

I have downloaded the new link in post #8 to my desktop
It looks like a notepad called "home-theater-demonstration-bluray-v2.0.torrent"
It talks about opening a bit torrent but about 25% down it turns into abstract symbols.
I'm not sure what to do next.

If anyone could help me either here or through pm's that would be wonderful !!!

Thanks so much for all the great work you guys do!!biggrin.gif

Download and install a bit torrent client. Rename the file you downloaded and remove the ".txt" extension. Now double click it again and it should launch your client and begin downloading the files.
thanks duc135, the file I downloaded doenn't have a ".txt"
it says ""home_theater_demonstration_bluray_v2.0.torrent"
Have I done something wrong ?
Have you downloaded and installed a torrent client like Bit Torrent? If not, you need to do that in order to actually download the video files.

Go into Control Panel, in the top right set it to view by icons, click on Folder Options, click on View, UNCHECK "Hide extensions for known file types". After that you'll see the .txt extension.

I've been seeding 2.0 for a while off and on, and I decided with the new working links to try to get the original. So hopefully that stays live for a while longer.

Love the 2.0, just wish all the clips were D-BOX enabled. Not sure why some are and some aren't (obviously excluding scenes that don't have coding).

I did use imageburn and it worked pretty well. Detailed instructions here (BTW - while you are there, you might want to also download and burn Superleo's demo disc............it is really cool as well).
