Argh. The reason I got the WDTV Live Hub in the first place was because I didn't want the hassle of trying to transcode/convert files to stream them from my PC to my TV via the Sony Blu-Ray player/Xbox 360.
So here's another question: If I run Serviio (which transcodes, I believe) on my PC, can I also have it serve up and transcode video files from my WDTV hub to my Blu-Ray player and iPad, regardless of format (assuming the transcoding works)?
Anyone know of the best (most reliable) way of streaming files (NOT THROUGH ITUNES) from a PC or Hub to an iPad?
