In case you've been under a rock, you've all probably heard of the magazine blogger that trashed M&M and said it would make her sick to watch it.http://www.marieclaire.com/sex-love/...-on-television
However, she stated that she had not even watched it.
Had she... she would see it is about a, admittedly, obese couple that know they need to loose weight and have joined Overeaters Anon. While there they meet and form a relationship; which shows that even in tough times, a person can find happiness.
They continue to attend OA meetings, talk about their diets and show that ALL people need loving and the comedy that ensues. It's not like "Jersey Shore" that just makes fun of the orange people for the fun (ratings) of it.
Really, she's never seen it but trashes it?! I see it as addressing obesity in a healthy way as they strive together for weight loss and now comedic love.
The world is not made up of only supermodels.
For the same reasons we have shows about: drag queens, cooking competitions, fashion designers, housewives of "some-big-city", find me a man/woman, survivors, chasers, cheaters, drinkers, diners, miners, "not-the-fathers", hoarders, boarders, homeless shelters, millionaire cribbers, rockers, truckers, swamp log rustlers, alligator catchers, wild animal wranglers, wedding makers, wedding crashers, high school reunions, bachelor pads, cheating islands, song idols, talent makers, pawn shop buyers, weird food eaters, cake creators, etc...
