Sub Recommendations

I'm in the market for a new sub; my previous Yamaha YST-SW160 has finally kicked the bucket after 15+ years...

My room is a dedicated theater, 21 long by 15 wide. The subs I have in mind are:

1) Focal Chorus SW800V - $1000
2) Polk DSW Micropro 4000 $1700 retail but can find refurb for $850
3) Polk DSW Micropro 3000 $1450 retail but can find new for $600
4) Sunfire HRS-12 $1000 retail $600 refurb
5) I'd pick something else...

Which sub would you recommend in the 1k price range? And if picking #2, would you spend the extra $850 to buy new instead of manufacture refurb? I've heard the Sunfire's have reliability issues...

Last, I plan on matching this sub with Polk RTi A series shortly.

I appreciate the help

You have got to be kidding. Look at those drop offs at 25HZ past 3db on the speakers you recommend compared to the Polk that blasts through to 19hz at 3db. Look at the charts !

I ended up going with the Sunfire TQ-ES12. It cost me $1300 (B-stock), but it is the most amazing sub I've ever heard. I'm got it turned down pretty low for my room size (24x14), but if I wanted this thing could knock some walls down.
