Sharp Aquos LC-52LE810UN

Please delete this if it has already been covered. But, my searching today didn't turn up anything except the owners thread.

Has anyone got these settings down yet? I ran the Spears and Munsil Blu-Ray on my old LC-46D62U, then tweaked with user settings here and it looked pretty good.

I just don't want to mess anything up with this one having the extra color (RGBY). I just want the best picture possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings

Best picture possible ... that is a mouthful and a loaded question. You can't get the best picture possible if you randomly copy settings ... (think these tvs are built to military specs?)

The best settings are derived when you run your own test disc and use calibration gear to test your own set up ... which is different from everyone else's set up. Rooms are different ... dvd players are different ...av receivers ....

Aye,

I understand that. That's why I use my Spears and Munsil Blu-Ray. But I like to see if I'm even on the same page as other users.

I think I found a good starting point on page 32 of the owners thread. But I thought it would make sense to have a dedicated thread in the Calibration sub-forum (why it exists). Reading through that whole thread made my head hurt.

Thank you for your input though Michael TLV.

Maybe we could post calibration findings so that I can have a starting point? I tried to find that owners thread with no luck. Thank you.

Greetings

Because copying settings is not calibration and does not belong in a calibration forum.
