maybe they are my ticket because of the removable pages? (my collection is sports, filed chronologically, so if i get a new event that's "in the middle" i don't want to shift around hundreds of discs)

let me know

I wouldn't want to lift it, 600 disks is pretty heavy.

Not to [Beat a Dead Horse], but, please post the LINK that works for you.

I'm referring to the LINK that you posted in Post #23, that I QUOTEd in Post #29.

You posted:

Code:
http://www.meritline.com/520-cds-dvd...--p-22079.aspx

...which, for me, returns: "

Bad Request"

...when I believe you meant to post:
Code:
http://www.meritline.com/520-cds-dvds-capacity-pvc-cd-wallet-red---p-22079.aspx
Reference: 520 Disc Capacity Red CD DVD Album in PVC Material. Media Storage Holder with Handle & Shoulder Strap. Without making a BIG DEAL out of it, all I originally wanted to point out to you was that you cannot (usually - it depends on the length, IIRC) reliably 'Copy-and-Paste' a LINK from a post that you are not currently EDITing or QUOTing. The DISPLAY version of the RAW LINK is usually 'abbreviated' with an ellipsis. AFAIK, the TEXT portion of a TAGGED LINK, as in my example, is never altered.

Thanks!

Besides being heavy to lift (more so as the decades pile on ), over time the CONCENTRATED weight does some severe, PERMANENT damage to particleboard shelves, as I attempted to point out in Post #29.
the point seems to be then to not place them on cheap particle-board shelving....right?

*AND* which LINK you're referring to...

*AND* how much you can (currently, and in the next decade) lift...

I am very much in shape, I can lift quite a bit and will be able to do so for the next decade or 2....

Don't go getting 'Huffy' with me because you NOW realize that you were *WRONG*.

Just admit to your mistake, accept the helpful information voluntarily given, and move on with your life. [*OR* Don't reply in the first place! ]

In Post #29, I was merely attempting to point out your misconception regarding the 'Cut-N-Paste' of LINKs. I *ONLY* replied, IN DETAIL (in Post #32), because YOU *CONTESTED* my statement (without any proof / justification I may add ).
Geez!
[Too many folks take public forums *TOO* seriously! Just because someone posted something, it's *NOT* necessarily true! And, just because someone *CHALLENGED* your statement(s), it's *NOT* necessarily a DIRECT ATTACK on your character - *MAYBE* you just didn't know / made a mistake / misunderstood something...

Regardless, try to LIGHTEN UP, accept my 'Poking Fun' for what is it, and 'Roll With It'. As I recently replied to "..."stomped the entire forum "...",

My thoughts when composing my OVERLY-FORMATTED / BLUNT posts are never mean - but that of poking fun - but there aren't enough smilies to replace the visual cues in a face-to-face conversation. They are more of the "Teach a Person to Fish" versus the "Give a Person a Fish" variety.

I participate in Public Forums both to *SHARE* the knowledge I have *AND* to *LEARN* from other folks.

P.S. To those of you who KNOW me - I can resist for just SO LONG. But then, all I need is the 'slightest *FIRM* nudge' to fall back into my 'Old Habits'... I have fall leaves to collect, so, I won't be online as much...

Those nice 128 DVD Albums for $8.50 (Qty 4) from SuperMediaStore don't seem to exist anymore (i.e. "EOL"), but since folks were talking about smaller 104 DVD versions, Meritline has a special today with *FREE SHIPPING* (NOTE: Limit 80 Users!):
