Pinball Fx2 - Page 6

As for licensed tables with properties like Addams Family, Twilight Zone, etc., I would be surprised to see these because the dev would also have to pay the license holder.

But if FX2 has Bullwinkle and Street Fighter, who knows? I would also pay extra for cool licensed tables.

It's launching with 1 licensed table and the developer has said that licensed tables will be an important component to this. It's following a similar commercial model to the Pinball FX releases, so there's no reason to think we also won't be getting such things on a routine basis.

Why on FX2, is there a star on two of the games offered for sale located in the area where one would pick the game they want to play?

One was paranomal I forget what the other one is.

Hi DaverJ, new to this and . But notice its has Paranormal Full and Pinball FX2. Are these two the same game? And do I need to dl both to play it?

You need both... the second is the base Pinball FX2 game - get that first. Then there's individual tables, or occasionally table packs, to download as DLC to install in the game.

Good timing, today is the last day the Paranormal table is free. Check out free demos of some of the other tables too, there's a lot of really good ones, like the Marvel tables and the core pack.

And if you want to populate your leaderboard, there's some Pinball Wizards in this thread with good scores to chase. Feel free to add DaverJ to your friends list.

Have fun!

It's going to need it till it replicates real pinball movement. I've read at the rate things are moving, they might be there in less than five years.

Moon Knight is the next announced table! http://kotaku.com/5858303/a-moon-kni...dios-my-babies

I'm not a great at playing any first person fighter shooter, however these pinball games are the best in terms of fun and value.

I also can't wait for Pinball Hall of Fame's Pinball Arcade. I think those will be really fun too.

Seems to be more focus on the toys rather than game play.

Longer trailer for The Pinball Arcade, with about 45 seconds from each of the four launch tables.

The 4 new Marvel tables (Vengeance and Virtue) are up!

Who's tried them?
Only played Thor and Moon Night last night. Thor was decent but Moon Night had a LOT more going on, with 'upgrades' to pay for and some sort of stock exchange?...

I played all 4 this morning. I like the X-men one and Thor. Ghostrider was ok (Seems like a lot of wasted space and small playing area), and Ghost Moon was better then I thought after a few plays.

I have not been on my 360 for awhile, so I had to do those 4 and the two before that which set me back some points.

The annoying part of the X-Men table is the left side. Magneto has thrown the ball out on me several times. Someday I'll have to learn how to shake the table in time to avoid stuff like that...

The trailer is obnoxious, but the concept sounds promising:

Didn't find a release date on the 360 yet. Need to keep an eye out for it...

I haven't played any FX2 in a while.

At the same time, I'm waiting for the downloadable version of "Pinball Hall of Fame." That should be pretty cool!
Any word on the new "Pinball Hall of Fame?"

From everything I've read, it suppose to have on-line play like FX2.

It's called The Pinball Arcade, and the latest release date is Thursday, Feb. 9th for iPhone and iPad, and "on track for late March" for 360/PS3. They plan to eventually release it on every possible gaming system.

Cool, that's very soon! I'll have to read up on how the features (as far as on line play) works for those phones (if that's even possible on those phones.)

Looks like it will be ready "just in time" for tax season on the Xbox!!! Yea!!!

Well, is there anyone here with a iPhone or iPad who could check this out?

I have the demo on my iPod Touch. It's a good game, but touch controls are not the way to play pinball.

Didn't find it yet today where the tables usually are. Maybe it's supposed to be Wednesday like usual?...

Is there a way to play with other people (on-line) at the same time like Pinball FX2?
