Whoever put that together missed the fact that Harvey Dent does appear in the Tim Burton movies, as played by Lando Calrissian. He just doesn't turn into Two-Face until Joel Schumacher took over and cast Tommy Lee Jones.
Ah, thanks Josh. You beat me to it.
And does anyone else think that picture of Two Face from the 'ABC area' looks like a wax museum Tommy Lee Jones? I do.
Saw this last night....
It was an industry screening with some prominent Producers and Directors in attendance.
The best part of the screening for me was sitting next to Gary Oldman's mother-who is a very sweet lady and obviously proud of her son.
As far as the movie goes....I HATED IT!
On almost every level,TDKR is a MASSIVE dissapointment and a huge letdown.
I consider myself a huge fan of Nolan's Batman films especially The Dark Knight.
TDKR IMO is a failure

Wow I've read positive reviews over here. Curious to read what other think.
I just bought the music on iTunes...I love it. I just can't wait to see the film, listening to the music before seeing the film isn't much of a spoiler to me, as there's always the surprise of seeing/hearing it for the first time in the context of the film. I've read nothing but great reviews/comments about it - there's no way I'm missing this one.
Heh, I haven't checked out this thread in ages to avoid any spoilers.
I've got my iPic Gold Class Cinema tickets ready in order to experience the Dark Knight in the most comfortable theater I've ever been in.
- No kids running around!
- No babies crying!
- No one kicking the back of my chair!
- A waiter brings us gourmet food!
- Reserved (reclining) seats so I know my viewing angle ahead of time!
It costs extra, but it is worth it for a movie like this. I'm sure my daughter will be wowed when we go this Friday.

That sounds interesting, but the video says people are being served food and drinks “during the first 20 minutes”. Does that mean you actually have people coming in and talking (and possibly obscuring a view of the screen) during the first part of the movie? Why would anyone think that's ok? How much are tickets? Also, there’s no mention of sound and picture quality (what kind of projectors, etc.), almost as if it’s an afterthought (as in “hey, with all these amenities, who cares about that stuff?").

We have something similar in my area. Ours is an over 21 lounge because they serve alcohol. I'm not entirely sure I recall the time frame for serving (20 minutes into the film or what) but it was a very nice experience. Everyone is different but I personally didn't find the servers distracting mainly because of the way the seating was arranged. And it was definitely far less distracting than someone walking over you to go to the restroom during a movie. And even more so, I went with my girl (saw Unstoppable) so it was more of a nice "date-night" experience. Not an "I gotta see and hear every detail" kind of night or movie for that matter. Awesome experience though not a 'see every movie that way" experience mainly because my budget doesn't allow for it. Seating was great both physically and proximity-wise, movie and sound were excellent, would definitely do it again.
Bought tickets today. Not sure how my rear is going to handle sitting in a movie theater seat for 7-8 hours. Gonna have to go easy on the Cokes as well.

I saw one negative review yesterday. don't want to repeat what it said due to spoilers, but their tone was similar to what alex posted.
...Agrees Time magazine's Richard Corliss, "The most eagerly anticipated movie of summer 2012 was worth waiting for. ... The movie may not top 'The Avengers' at the worldwide box office, but it is a far, far better thing -- maybe the best, most troubling, assured and enthralling of all the superhero movies."

1. I've gone once before (with my mom on Mother's Day last year) and ordered the food from a menu while sitting in my chair before the movie started. However, I could have ordered food in the music lounge before coming into the actual theater room.
The waiter came back early in the pic during a talky scene to discreetly bring us our meals. The huge sofa chair has a tray to swivel in front of you, so that's how I ate while watching the movie. All the reclining seats are so spaced out in groups of two from one another and the waiters stay on the "outside lane", so there was no disruption with other people getting served. When communicating, the waiter bends down and speaks briefly in a near whisper. They are well aware why people pay extra to come there.
2. The digital screens are very large (with only 30 seats, everyone has a close-up view) - and the sound quality is excellent. I wouldn't be going back if that was an issue. You get what you pay for, and the last time I went I got my money's worth. My mom is VERY particular about how she watches movies, and she was a happy camper after the experience as well.
3. Tickets can be up to $30 each in my area. They can average $15 - $20 for members, depending on the film and how new it is. Edited by joeblow - 7/17/12 at 1:56pm

i'd give a link but i can't find it now.
Holy crapster batman, I hated TDK...it was uber boring, took it self way too serious and nothing like the comic so can't even wrap my head around this one. This might be the 1st big film I won't even see on dvd. Thank god this is the last one.
