I am hoping to get some feedback on the EPX2000. This will be used to power a DIY Sub-woofer solution. I was looking at the EP2000 and will be hooking it up to a AV receiver (not yet purchased, looking at the Onkyo 608 and Pioneer 1120) and was reading today that the EP2000 with its balanced inputs likes a higher signal strength than the LFE output. However, the EPX2000 has RCA inputs. The price is a little higher on the "X" model, but was wondering if anybody had any thoughts about the X vs. the regular. I figured the extra cost would be offset because I wouldn't have to purchase any RCA to XLR or RCA to TRS connectors.
It appears that neither have any kind of remote trigger so I will need to power them on and off manually either way.
