Isn't it nearly impossible to calibrate an LCD which are notorious for uniformity and clouding problems ?

For example, my panel is somewhat brighter on the whole right side of the screen ... so depending on where I placed my light meter I would end up with drastically different readings ... wouldn't I ??

btw - I think my panel is more uniform than most ... with no bad pixels ... so I'm content enough not to return it. I've seen and heard about panels MUCH worse than mine ... and don't want to take the chance of swapping out something which could end up being worse.
