Sony HTSS360 Bypass volume limit

Hello Forum

I was wondering if there was a way to bypass the volume limiter on my sony it only goes up to 40 and it doesnt get loud enough for me im not worrying about blowing my speakers i got good extra warrenty.

are you sure it goes higher ? check the manual .. it should say in there if there is a way. Also what are your speaker levels ? I think if there set higher the max volume is lowered

There is a volume limiter setting for the HDMI inputs I believe. You can change this setting in the menu. Though as noted above you may actually be at the system's maximum level...
