Epson 6100 VS Epson 8100/8350

Hey guys, I have finally decided to make an account and go towards a projection route. I have read all of the reviews off projectorreviews.com and have leaned towards these three (3) projectors. I cannot decide which to get with a setup I am looking to connect with a PS3, Xbox 360, sound system and DirectTV HD-DVR receiver to it. Now I am looking to get quality which is why im choosing Epson but reading the reviews they say there isn't a real difference between the 6100 vs 8100 but I am looking to get quality when watching TV. I saw a user on here auero who has a 8100 that gets quality like this:

Epson 8100 Example Quality

Will I be able to get the same type of quality with the 6100? Is it worth to just ditch the 6100 and pick up a 8100 or do I pick up the newer 8350. I am really looking to keep this at about $1000 and under which is why I am leaning towards the 6100 but if the 8100 is better in someways which i cant find I will pick the 8100 up.

My main questions are:
- With that picture, will I be getting the same quality if I calibrate my PJ with the 6100?
- Is the 8350 worth it compared to getting the 8100?
- Is the 8100 worth the price compared to the 6100.

Thanks guys, hope this is enough information and sorry for the long post, as this is going to be my first high quality ht projector.

have not personally witnessed the 8350. I have with the 6100 and 8100, and you would be pressed to tell the difference between the two.

The 8350 eats the Lunch of either of the other PJs. And then Burps perfume.

What differences are we looking at between the two? Like I said my main concern is if I get similar image quality in the picture I posted between the two. If were looking at the 6100 now having compatibility for ananorphic lenses that's not a problem.

i owned them both the picture differance is a slight brightness with the 8100 and the 6100 would go out of focus about once a week . i recomend going to best buy and buying a four year warrenty for 300 bucks ive used my projectors with my cable box, xbox, blu ray,and wii and have owned 4 differnt projectors because they keep going out and have been replaced no hassel i started with the 6100 replaced it with another 6100 and best buy stoped carring the 6100 so they replaced it with the 8100 started over my warrenty and gave me about a 300 dollar price differance and just recently replaced it with a new 8100 and now still have 3 1/2 Years left on my warrenty. now i will always go to best buy because they stand by there warrenty if you have a dark room i would go with the 8350. i hope my run on sentance has helped you.sorry for my crap spelling

Does anyone have any further opinion on this matter? There's some very tempting deals on the 6100 refurbs floating around right now, so a comparison between the 6100 and 8350 would be great. Any owners of either want to speak up?
