Am I missing something if I'm not watching in 24P?

My Panasonic Z1 has the option of watching in 24P and has a 96Hz setting to do it. Is there a big difference in not being in 24P? And, are all BD movies in 24P?

Opinions vary. Converting 24 to 60hz introduces pulldown judder, which means horizontal motion across the image is not smooth. Some people are sensitive to this and hate it a lot, but it has never bothered me.

Blu-ray movies from film-based sources are almost always 24p. Many video-based titles (like concerts) are 60hz, just like DVD. But video cameras that produce 24hz are also being used these days.
