How to best connect Apple TV to Russound CAV 6.6

I have a russound cav 6.6 and would like to connect my apple tv to it. The problem is apple tv is a component video. The cav uses composite video. I have found a switch for $150 that suggest it will switch the component video to composite. Is this the best approach?

I distribute the video from my CAV today via coax. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't suppose there is a good way to do it. The AppleTV outputs are high-def. You'd have to get a device that converted a high-def picture down to the low-res format necessary for composite video. I'm sure someone out there makes a converter that will do it, but to what end? You'd end up with a terrible looking picture.

How about an old AVR that does video cross-conversion? I think most could down-convert component to composite.
