Many of our HD customers have asked about INHD networks, and we have good news for you -- we are adding INHD and INHD2 to Time Warner Cable's high-definition programming as of today, Nov 14. This programming will currently be offered to all customers with HD converters at no additional charge.
INHD (channel 290) is a 24/7 digital cable channel that presents the best programming available in the hi-def format including movies, major and college sports and general interest programming. NBA will air in HD next Monday, 11/17 (Boston @ NY). An expanded schedule of NBA games will start on Dec 3.
Sports: NBA regular season and playoff games, plus MLB regular season games, college sports and US Open matches & highlights.
Movies: include blockbuster hits, classic titles and documentaries like "Farther Than The Eye Can See" (a documentary featuring the first high definition footage of Mt. Everest).
INHD2 (channel 291) is a second 24/7 digital cable channel featuring similar general entertainment programming scheduled at varying times from INHD to give you more viewing options at any given time.

Other info that may be helpful...
ESPN HD
We know you're waiting for good news about ESPN HD, and we're as anxious as you are. To better explain the delay, here's some background on the process for launching new channels. The individual TWC divisions are not permitted to launch new networks until a contract is negotiated at the corporate level. Time Warner Corporate is in negotiations with Disney (who owns ESPN) to provide our customers with the best programming at the best price. At this time, the high-level discussions are taking quite a while to finalize, and we don't have a projected launch date yet. HD Net and HD Net movies are also in the negotiation phase.
WWWB & WJZY
To qualify for HD carriage, broadcast stations must carry a certain level of HD programming. Our technical department is currently evaluating WWWB for carriage, and it's possible that WB may be added to the HD lineup. WJZY (a UPN affiliate) currently does not have enough HD programming for carriage. As soon as we have more info on these or any new products, I will email you again.
HD DVR
The HD DVR product is in the manufacturer's testing phase, and the latest projection for availability to our customers is probably Q1 or Q2 of 2004.
Just for reference, here's a list of the HD programming currently carried on Time Warner Cable. All of our HD programming continues to be available to you at no additional charge (except for HBO & Showtime, which are included free of charge only to customers who subscribe to those premium services).
