On or about July 17th, the following HD services will be available: UP HD (Digital TV channel 1283), TVGN HD (Digital TV channel 1331), EWTN HD (Basic Cable channel 1280), ReelzChannel HD (Digital TV channel 1619), Fox Deportes HD (Nuestra Tele channel 1818) and Galavision HD (Nuestra Tele channel 1801).
On or about July 18th, ShopNBC will move from channel 76 to channel 7 in Charlotte. Also, in Clover, SC, Monroe and Wadesboro, ShopNBC will move from channel 76 to channel 21.
I love these games of figuring out where TWC puts QAMs on a system
My area has a ton of QAMs from 2 to 78, 95-99:
56 newly opened as of today as SPEED was dropped from analog on this channel
95 unusable (Due to the proximity of the system distance to the Antenna Farm for the DFW metro)
96 unusable (Due to the proximity of the system distance to the Antenna Farm for the DFW metro)
97 unusable (Due to the proximity of the system distance to the Antenna Farm for the DFW metro)
of all of those these are open for use:
these have blank QAM carriers on them with no channels:
47 used to have a black QAM carrier on it as well but it got reused on another frequency
I am going to assume that analog 5 in Gastonia will used eventually when they finish the changes on making room for 8 channel DOCSIS bonding. I noticed that TWC originally used 95 in Charlotte for channels but that QAM was moved to 97 so that QAM might be open in Charlotte unless there was too much noise on that Carrier unless TWC moved another QAM there.
