My system is as follows:
52" Sony LCD HDTV
Sony STR-DA555ES receiver
Sony BluRay Player 530D
Paradigm Studio 20 Reference main speakers
Cambridge Sound Works center channel speaker (don't remember the model number offhand)
Cambridge Sound Works read speakers.
My current subwoofer (Klipsch KSW10) appears dead.
I'm just looking for a decent subwoofer for movies and music. I want it to be good at both, but I don't really care to spend too much on it. (hoping for less than $300).
The room is 24x14 with cathedral ceilings. I may want to be able to use this in our basement, which is about 900 square feet with normal, 8-foot ceilings.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. I have searched through a lot of previous threads, but as you might guess: who has a similar room, similar system, etc.
