great question.. just found this myself. anyone try it for 3D?

I can confirm that the monoprice active HDMI over Cat6 baluns work with 3d except if you are using DirecTV for your 3d content.

no DirecTV 3D?

that's probably the only consistent content. Bummer that it doesn't support it. Do you think it's the limitation of the balun or DirecTV firmware?
