JVC Dla-RS1 owner looking at the HC4000

I wasn't sure how to phrase the heading, but it pretty much somes it up. I have owned many projectors over the years and currently have a RS1 which I've been pretty happy with. In my opinion, it is still a little flat, in my opinion, when compared to the past DLP projectors I've owned (infocus 7210, benq w20000). I have owned it for about 2 years and recently moved to a house where the screening room is a little smaller than before. Long story short, I can't zoom out the JVC enough to fill my 138" 2:35 screen (about six inches too short) when watching anamorphic material. I noticed that the hc4000 had a short throw along with a great price and this peeked my interest. Has anyone seen both? If so, I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks

So you're saying that an anamorphic lens will actually enable me to get a larger, not just wider, picture? As I mentioned above, I have a 138" 2:35 screen and at 16:9, the picture is 110". If I do the poor man's zoom out method, I come up about 8" short of the full 138". In other words, if I use a lens, I could get the full picture?

Thanks for the reply. I know the JVC have great blacks and contrast, but it just feels a little 2 demension to me. I wouldn't admit it until now, but I prefered the look of the Infocus and the Samsung ae710 to the look of the JVC. I guess deep down, I just prefer the DLP look. How would you think the picture of the HC4000 would compare the the older DLPs I was refering to? thanks
