I'm going to go ahead and let a few cats out of the bag here just so people know what's coming.
There's a compression driver that was being worked on behind the scenes that's as good as the DE250, possibly better. Pricing will be less and make these affordable for everyone.
I've already seen the graphs of the actual production run and they look good. Tomorrow I'm getting 2 of them delivered here and hopefully member BWaslo will be testing them in a week to give the green light.
I've also got about 15 other CD samples that I'm hoping Mr. Waslo can test as well. The goal is to get one of the smaller ones to go good with the SEOS-8 or SEOS-10 for around $20 or so.
And I found some nice but very small compression drivers that will really surprise you. They have a neo magnet and are only about 2.75" in diameter and maybe 1" thick!!! They've already been tested on a small elliptical shaped waveguide and perform pretty good. They've been dubbed the "Micro-Wave".
2 more things: Two woofers are coming that will go very nice with the SEOS-10 and maybe the SEOS-8.....for cheap.
And I should have a definite word on an even cheaper SEOS-12 in about a week. I'm sure you can guess what it is. Yes, there's a chance I've gone crazy.
Okay, one more thing. The guys in Poland said they will start making the mold for the poured SEOS-12 this week. I'm hoping they can get some made up prior to the next pallet being shipped. If so, I'll make sure we have some on the next shipment.
Darn, yet more news......I asked for another SEOS-12 model that has has a larger outer flange. The flange should be the exact size as the QSC. So anyone with a QSC can swap them out! How nice will that be!
It's safe to say that I've gone crazy.
I need to contact Wayne from Pi and see if he wants one of the fiberglass models to test.
