You actually said "ridiculously cumbersome". The impression we got was somewhat more intense than simple saying you felt it was cumbersome. The word "ridiculously" is a bit extreme and using the current meaning of "hating" on something it actually fits.

I completely understand it. That's exactly why I posted the solution and didn't offer any comments on said parenting choices. Read up-thread. Please don't try to enter into some ad hominem debate. I'm simply trying to highlight the technology choices and offer options for people to address their needs and enhancement requests.

I don't disagree with the interest, but I imagine that they have higher priority development tasks and would probably schedule the analysis and development of such functionality based on ROI. Unless you work for Netflix I'd be cautious about assuming something is actually simplistic.
