I don't have Christmas Carol or Clash yet but I do have the Disney demo disc so I'll watch the Christmas Carol clip and see if I notice the flicker.
Hiya - I can only speak from my own personal experience thus far, and I'm hopeful that Dougaldy (Scott) will also be able to add a second confirmation over the next number of days, but my CE4's/ELR2 Emitter that replaced my CE5s TOTALLY block the DLP-Flash (on my Samsung LED DLP HLT-5089s). It's been about a week now and I'm absolutely loving them. Other than my continuing search to find some level of storage for the glasses so I don't have three large white boxes stacked around the TV each night (WAF: Critical
), I could not be happier.

for CE4 specific discussion.
In closing, the way I look at it is this, (Warning: glass half full philosophy in 3, 2, 1...) if you can look past the additional cost of the ELR2 emitter, the CE4's obvious benefit over the CE5's are that you are buying yourself a futureproof/universal option, should you ever decide (or be forced) to upgrade your TV to one that isn't DLP.
