This is great stuff, thanks for sharing. Only issue I've had is that some of the codecs are not universally compatible with players, but the content is great.

Some kind of XVID codec used there, not overly compatible with players or TV media players. It would be immensely helpful if you could post audio and video codec information on these clips so people know whether to bother downloading and wasting yours and their bandwidth.

After I download a clip what do I need to play it.

My display is a Panasonic VT25, my BD player is a BDT-300.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Depends on the specific codecs used in the file. There are many in this collection. The "AVI, MTK, WMV, etc" are just containers, the codecs used will vary in each container type. Some players that have file playback support will play some of them. Not sure if the VT25 will play any of them. Your PC should play most of them assuming it has 3D support.

Thank you. I tried the Tron Legacy trailer and the VT25 did not recognize it. My BDT300 did but said the resolution was not supported.

I have an Oppo BDP-93 arriving next week, do you think I would have the same problem?

I've been able to play all but 6 or 8 of them on the Oppo. Among those that don't work are the Tron and Avatar clips.

More clips and 3D videos have been added guys to the downloads page at 3DTVWORLD.COM.AU!

Will add more this weekend! Good times

I dont think the clips will work on the ps3 without a 3dtv. Most 3DTV's will play back most of these files without a hitch as long as they support the video format it is in ie) AVI MKV etc

I am still trying to source the tron 3D trailer that will playback on 3DTV's. The one i have on my site will play back on 3d enabled pc's.

The easiest way to play them on a PS3 is to convert them to .AVI format and stream them from your PC via Windows Media Player, or if you happen to have a Samsung, copy them to a thumb drive and play directly off the PC.

Hamstersoft makes a very nice, easy to use and free conversion program that you can get at www.hamstersoft.com. I used it to convert the Coyote Falls video to .AVI and it played fine both ways.

That site has not been updated for a year. Move on, there are better and more current sites with legal trailer downloads in 3D.
