Rookie Questions

I just purchased a HDTV set. I currently have RCA Direct TV. I realize I need to get an HDTV satellite system. I need to buy the oval dish but do I also need to get the HDTV receiver? In buying this system, where is the best place to get based on price & service? I'm sure these are redundant questions on here, so forgive. Thanks.

which RCA set did you purchase? Some of them have an integrated tuner.

Yes you will need to get a High Def receiver, the oval dish and an over the air antenna (if you want local channels in HD). Where you get them is up to you. You might find them cheap over the net but then you have to do the installing yourself. You may pay more for a local guy but then you can hire them for the installation.
