Era D4 Sat speakers - would Onkyo SR608 receiver work?

I wanted to seek advice from the group's collective intelligence. I have Era Speakers (D4 Satellite, with D8 sub and D4 LCR i.e center channel) and am wondering if Onkyo's SR608 would be a good receiver for those speakers as I hear they are bit power hungry. Pls advice.
