A quick search on the WinAmp forum shows that they've known about this since at least January 2011.

Same here....sorry there have been so many with this problem, but without this thread, I probably would have never realized a WinAmp update on my Galaxy Tab yesterday would have freaked out 2 of my 4 ReplayTV units!

WinAmp zapped, problem fixed!

I just had 2 RTVs in reboot loops. Uninstalling WinAmp from my HTC EVO 4g Android phone stopped the reboots. Does anyone have the reason this happens? I want to thank the members of this forum for their great help. I would have never thought about WinAmp.

How did anyone ever figure this out? I am pretty technically savvy, but would not have figured this one out.

Uninstalled Winamp on my DINC2 and replay tv stopped rebooting. Funny, I thought it was my kid's ipods.
