- I read somewhere that XBMC Frodo 12.2 has issues with external players and proper playback. True? Or, to be safe, if I downgrade to 12.0, how do I properly do this? Just install 12.0 over my existing 12.2?
Thanks for any guidance
The files/instructions in that post will work fine, do you have any BD folder rips at all or do you just use ISO files?
If you just have ISO files then it can be made simpler than in that post. Example -playercorefactory.xml
<player name="TMT6" type="ExternalPlayer" audio="false" video="true">
<rule filetypes="iso|bdmv|mpls" player="TMT6"/>
Make sure C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\PlayISO.bat
matches where your PlayISO.bat is saved (Check Username)PlayISO.bat
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Elaborate Bytes\VirtualCloneDrive\VCDMount.exe" /d=0 %1
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcSoft\TotalMedia Theatre 6\uTotalMediaTheatre6.exe" D:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Elaborate Bytes\VirtualCloneDrive\VCDMount.exe" /d=0 /u
Again make sure all these paths match your system and that D:
matches your virtual drive letter.
Not sure the best way to downgrade (Yes, 12.2 is known to have some external player issues)Edited by acejh1987 - 8/13/13 at 11:28am
