Not sure until I build it. 12-13Hz at audible levels if I'm lucky. The basement's open to upstairs though, so I probably won't be that lucky.

Looks like you have fun time with cloverfield, you planning to do rest of them?

btw have you trye'd these ones.

Klaus Schulze - Soft 'n' groovy (Excerpt)
This have 14hz info continuous, though not very hot, but its there and you can blast it full volume(i think)

Keemoh- it's a trap
Not much under 25hz, but its very hot 25-60hz bass. Carefully with that one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BvBDIp75-k

Keemoh- chipbrain
Same with this, in hot side, bass down to 19hz
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wxN8...eature=related

Infected Mushroom - Never Ever Land ,strong 17-55hz bass
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZzU2A8qSYY

Jurassic lunch, strong bass in 10-20hz area.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gA4PlwSKj8A

Vibe Bass Tunnel - Bass Test [Slowed]-This is sick one, strong bass down to 4hz. Extreme caution with this one.

I haven't gone through your whole van build yet but it reminds me of Meade. That guy is crazy and must be deaf. LOL

Not saying you did the same thing just you guys are in the same realm of lots of "overhead." LOL

lol ya, meade on MUTE is me full bore. One BTL or SMD tuned to 32Hz would smash my whole system
post #373 of 568

That guys insane. Hair tricks and eyeballs popping out is just alittle to much for me

Oh and dont forget about the cheap amps he is using. LOL

The Klaus track was nice to listen to and the other wasn't much down low but can you get full potential of a recording on just a YT clip?

They need to be cranked, then they sound decent/good.

Lol, wut? Dude, there is a TON of midbass with all the low bass in Cloverfield. One of the reasons I like it. Bout time you got that crankin' tho.

You need new mains, son.

I still need to pick that disc up. From the looks of that spec graph, I'd say that's the T-rex track.

Try the CD... you'll like it. If you love movies (and who here doesn't?) you'll enjoy most every track. The sound effects are just the gravy. My sons grew up listening to this recording nightly on cassette... later they were both very fortunate to study under the late Maestro Kunzel.
I have listened to that cd before. I didn't care to much for it but it does have some crazy bass on it.

Krypto that track I sent you is of Erich Kunzel also. He has quite a few cds with below 15hz content. I just much preferred the 1812 vs his other stuff.

I love Fringe but it comes in quick small bursts. FlashForward, 1st ep after 1st commercial break was the best I've ever seen. I would trade one Blurey a month for someone else's HULU Plus. But as far as Bluereys go, this is a great flick. Dude sayin Rob! is like the screming girl on WOTWs...just wanna choke him!

Cloverfield 1st shake inside apart

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIJ0H08IO74

Cloverfield heads will roll

Cloverfield oh my god ryan oh my god ryan we did it for real fake

Cloverfield brooklyn bridge helicopter

EDIT "Cloverfield is AWESOME! It's got great low content. I gotta say, though, that I am after stuff more like Cloverfield" WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CAPRICA!

What level are the fireworks recorded? I have this but wasn't sure where to set my volume knob.

Everyones system is different so just play it a few times and then you will know where your limit is.

Krypto's subs and himself magnify the lowend so its hard to say what he should do or you or others.

I understand this, I was curious as to the reference level.
