I just picked up a Samsung with a ND02 display. I went into the service menu and discovered the type to be 39P6AF0D. After doing a bit of research I determined that the panel is coming from
Chennai Sea, Taiwan.
The actual part number for the panel is BN07-01190A. Is it correct in believing that its a Chi Mei?
Some possible useful info: UN39FH5000FXZA is the tv I picked up. Based on my research it appears that this is the same panel that was in the 2012 version (model UN39EH5003FXZA). What is weird/interesting is that the 2012 model has a version CD01 instead of mine being ND02.
As far as I am aware C always = Chi Mei. Based on my searching ND02 essentially is CD01. So this begs the question why N now?
If this is a chi mei display should I be concerned? It looked pretty good with just basic calibration (discs, until my tools come in the mail). I'm really enjoying the direct lit led over edge lit.
Thanks for any help. I'm new here Edited by mespo365 - 7/8/13 at 10:33pm
