I'm assuming you bought the UN55F6300 (i.e. you are in the US).
55A1AF35 indicates a Samsung panel. I would be interested in the panel version/series as Woobieizer mentioned.

Hey guys very informative thread. I just set up my new UN50F6300AF I purchased from Best Buy. The version type is AH03 and if it matters at all the model code is UN50F6300FXZA. I went through this thread and the wikipedia article and didn't see AH03 as a panel type. If someone could help me I would be very appreciative. Thanks
Option says 50R1AF0S.. The TCON version says F50A1F600. I'm assuming the first option is what is more important meaning its R which I guess means AU... Honest opinion with a pretty big investment like this is it worth not trying to exchange from Best Buy hoping to get the sharp or samsung, mine only had this one in today but I'm sure they could order another? I have only had the opportunity to watch the Nets blow a basketball game and did notice some really random white spots? Thanks
As someone with no real experience I appreciate the help guys still tweaking it. I guess according to the wiki page AU is the only manufacturer of the UN50F6300 panel which is very interesting, can someone confirm that? Also that mine is Side LED, as I was told all of them were edge LED. Pretty weird how inconsistent this line is.
I bought a F7000 (it's 7500 in North America) and got an AUO Panel which is mediocre. I have bright band/stripe at the bottom from edge to edge and viewing angles are really bad. After reading this thread i figured out that my model should have an original Samsung PSA Panel (http://uhdtv.ro/tech/99-ghid-specificatii-tv-led-samsung-generatia-f-2013).
Service Menu confirms that an AUO Panel is used. My dealer offered me an exchange but the only visible notice regarding the panel is the version number on the back which says "06". So i didn't find any hints for cross-referencing numbers to panels.
My local Best Buy is carrying a "open box" (I'm assuming this means refurbished) UN50EH5000 that has a WH04 panel installed on it. Apparently the WH04 is a newer Samsung panel from 2013 (I've seen a lot of people from the EH6300 thread saying that they have this panel) so I'm assuming that Samsung replaced whatever faulty panel that was originally in this particular EH5000 with the WH04 version when the TV got sent in to them. Most likely going to pick it up.
Hmmm, not sure what to do then. I wanted to make sure that I get a Samsung panel on mine. After emailing countless Amazon sellers to no avail, this Best Buy seems to be the only one that carries an EH5000 with a good panel, even if it's open box. I was pretty set on picking this up on Sunday and getting the 2 year geek squad warranty on it just to be safe. Are there any other red flags I should immediately test for (not sure if I'll be able to look at it in the store or not) that would warrant me to return/not buy it?
