Wrong Ether left to be with that dude (forgot his name)... away from her "sisters" and foster famly

So I don't get Fiona, learning that Steve was Jimmy was enough to send him to hell? mmm she knows he isn't a "car salesman"..

Frank lost almost everything now and has to deal with his mother.. ouch..

Fletcher has aged a lot since I last seen her.. from DS9..

Good episode.

I see Steve and Fionna are still having problems. They're like Hank and Karen on Californication.
wow.

Big argument there at the end.

Sheila really did it?

Frank seemed upset, we saw him cry.
So because Steve gave Tony that bribe a couple of episodes back, Tony is now okay with Steve sticking around? Seems like kind of a cop-out after all the drama surrounding his departure at the end of last season.

I could not tell if Frank was laughing or crying ..

Louise Fletcher deserves an Emmy for her role. Sorry to see her go.

Gotcha.

Well, at first Frank seemed happy. He threw his arms in the air with a "oh yeah!" look. Then after the show ended, he went to his family member (sister?) and broke down. I'll have to rewatch the very ending to make sure. Seemed like it though.

Karen and her adoption feelings!
Is that why Lip lashed out at school? Or was Lip's problem dealing with Fionna and the whole graduation bet? Lip is smart, he shouldn't have a problem passing high school.

Mickey is too aggressive, glad he took a punch at the police officer and is now locked up. The scene were Frank caught them was funny, Frank did not care one-bit.

Jody, while a dork, seemed like he generally cares for people. He was taking care of Frank's mother pretty well. Where did he score all those drugs? Frank was stealing that morphine drip from his mother! That was harsh. Was "funny" to see Frank all high though.

Frank will apparently stoop to anything .. I hope he does not find out Mom sent all that cash to his brothers ..

That was Monica, Frank's ex-wife and mother of his children. She was featured pretty prominently last season.

And I also thought Frank really did break down and cry in that last scene. At least I hope so. The man needs some redeeming qualities.
Hey, thanks for the posting.

So that's who that is, I've always wondered. She was featured on the promo images, but never actually appeared.

The woman in that picture is Allison Janney. She was the actress original cast as Sheila until Joan Cusack replaced her. Monica, Frank's ex, is played by Chloe Webb. She was around for a couple of episodes last season.
I wish they'd stuck with Allison as Shelia. I like her. She would have been great in that role.
Joan Cusack isn't doing bad either..

I wonder if there will be any legal issues for Sheila for the "assisted suicide" or they will just let it go..

Brazilian girl is hot but I wish she stop following Steve everywhere, can't she stay home one minute?

Yeah I don't know about Lip issues, he left school to take care if "his" kid but he's running around to adoption agencies and stuff..

Hey, thank you.

Good posting

Forgot all about Alison Janney, thanks for posting pic. Agree she would have been interesting, but I really like Joan Cusack as Sheila. I can almost picture Alison with a strap on, but I can't see her as someone too afraid to go outside. She looks really tough. Really good episode. Thought Carl killed that kid when he laid him out. Why did Frank go running to Monica?

I think Frank finally realized he was alone without anyone else who Had to take him in.

Yeah, Frank definitely seems upset about his mother passing.

An 'OK' episode last night. Nothing really stood out, IMO.

Fionna and Steve, same stuff, different day
I do like how Steve is coaching the football team.
It's nice how Steve always brings some breakfast items to the house. Either coffee or donuts.

Estefania and her teasing, walking around in her panties. Not sure if she's "playing" Steve since Steve isn't really in-love with her. I think the marriage is forced.

Monica seems do be doing an 'OK' job at parenting. I guess we never saw the abusive part of her raising the children.

How about Jody and Sheila!
Jody and Sheila.. eww? that was so wrong.. LOL

Yeah Estie she's so hot, we already knew the marriage was forced, Steve had to marry her to give her a green card and stay away from Brazil where her father is a drug lord..

Wow last scene was so fast, Mandie is pregnant with maybe Lip's child (of course her father doesn't think so.. also there go Granny's ashes all over the floor.

Shameless and Breaking Bad- without doubt my two current favorites!

Still not digging the new Mandy, preferred the original (Jane Levy).

Oh, and what Karen's doing (hitting up ex-hookups for abortion money while out looking for well funded adoptive couples) is low even by Gallagher standards...

Right.

At first, I thought the "bag o ashes" was cocaine.

Putting ashes inside of a joint seems like a ritual thing done by Jungle Tribes
post #206 of 417
The ash rolling bit was stolen directly from Keith Richards .. although he did not "roll Dad" he did snort ..

and then later claimed it was all a joke. Okay episode to set things up for the final three of the season.
Joan Cusak better get some kind of award out of this show. lol
post #209 of 417
Monica!
One thing to steal from the Squirrel Fund, but to steal and use the money for assorted drugs was horrible. I wonder why Frank did not question her in regards to all that cash. I guess he doesn't have any morels though, he could care less where it came from.

Steve is in major trouble, or could be if Marco ends up dying from starvation/dehydration. Funny how Steve never gives up trying to win back Fionna.

Lip is getting big payouts from his new "employer" Steve. He sure did impress Ian when forking over tons of cash for a pack of smokes.

Fionna is trying so hard to do good. Trying out for a higher education and applying herself for that new job position. It sure did "break her heart" when Lip bitched at her for letting Monica take over.

Sheila taking in that disabled guy who is on his death bed
What a weird scenario, LOL. Made me laugh when he did gross things and Jody corrected him. He was smoking crack? Hard drug to just "go get" to please somebody.

Mandy and her father! Talk about a shocker. It was weird how Mandy did not seem "that" deranged about it. They were raising money for the abortion, right? Mandy's father sure did forget about things, how he was aiming for Ian the whole time. Self denial I guess.

Ian, and applying for the U.S. Army. It did seem weird how he couldn't apply w/o a high school diploma. Monica was right, the Army doesn't mind that they'd send him across the world to fight in combat but they do mind about completed high school. If he gets sent to Iraq, I don't think he needs to complete a high school eduction.

It wasn't so much Fionna trying to good as it was trying to do for herself. She convinced herself "mom" was going to be able to take over and was crushed when that wasn't the case and she was going to have to resume the role of mom and suppress her own needs yet again.
