I have the UK DVDs. Season one of each sort of lined up but ordering was different from what I remember. However, when I looked at the synopsis of the UK second season episodes it didn't seem to match the USA season 2 story lines. Hopefully they do diverge, at least I'd like them to so I can watch the UK series more and not have it be repeats of USA or vice versa. I think some others here may have seen UK season 2 and maybe they'll chime in. I could have remembered it all wrong.

Well NF had around 8 seasons, I think. Having reached the middle of season 4, the shows are almost completely divergent from each other. Biggest surprise was that Fiona, Steve, Kev, and Veronica, and the agrophobic are no longer even in the British version. Many different characters, and often concentrating on thug neighbors, the cops, etc. At this point, it's losing me...but I'll keep going at least through season five.

The UK version killed me after... like season 5. It was just a recycled train wreck with different characters...

I've got the UK version in my NF Q .. but I've never watched it for fear that it would trump the USA version .. I guess not ..

Hmm... well, I was glad the US version hasn't gone in the UK direction as much as I thought it would lets put it that way. I do however think the UK cast (with the exception of Sheila) is better than the US.

I suppose it would've been better to see US first then UK. I think after the character changes in UK, it became garbage.

Bump for season 3 premier tonight

Off to a very good start... The drug lord? father is a bit scary. Frank waking up to Mexico and having to stuff 18 large packages up his butt was intense. Love his last line, something a long the lines of "Thanks Sheila.".

Errr 19 packages... LOL

Loved the robot fight and Frank's ordeal to get to the US..

(That's not Juarez BTW no such thing as caged immigration officers)

Great premiere although... I soooooooooooo do not remember an asian downsyndrome baby... lool.

I don''t remember Kev breaking his ankle. Good premiere sets up the season nicely. Jimmy better watch his ass.

I don't think we've seen Debbie that mad before. She was pretty angry. Frank was pretty low to call CPS on his own house.

Good episode. I still think Mickey is an ******* and Ian would be better off elsewhere. Looks like Mickey punches his new lover shortly.

Nice to see Franks kids finally standing up to him- took the 'invasion of the bums' to get them to that point, but they finally kicked him out.
Funny scene- Frank brings his drinking buddies upstairs for nap time- one guy immediately retreats to the corner and starts to whiz in the boys bedroom

Guess we know why Jane Levy opted out of playing the Mandy role after season one...

For this season's premiere, SHAMELESS is up by 26% in viewership. And, while it may be hard to believe, Frank may be on his way to becoming a TV icon. Recently saw a commercial for some sort of iPhone which featured a guy watching SHAMELESS only to run into the Macy character. He and Frank end up in the trunk of a car...whereupon he asks Frank if the situation will get better..."No."

After seeing last night's ep and the first ep of this season's CALIFORNICATION...it was a gleeful 90 minutes of sheer celebration of bad behavior. (Both had urination scenes but CALIFORNICATION's easily topped the one in SHAMELESS. Bravo SHOWTIME!)

It's a commercial for cable, cablevision in particular fwir, and how easy it is to set up your dvr from a smart phone. They did a similar promo during Homeland's run with Claire Danes featuring On Demand.

I hope the Jimmy / father-in-law story line ends quickly. it adds nothing to the show other than the potential for unnecessary violence.

How could Frank honestly let Carl think he's dying of cancer. Pretty brutal.

The "finger fun" scene in the back of the SUV was kinda hot. Loved her expressions. Jimmy was funny, how he was not trying to do anything, acting all innocent. "She put my finger there!"

I'm glad that evil lady trying to snag Kevin away is gone (for now.) Nice to see Debbie have a "boyfriend" or somebody to hang out with. It should make her happy, as the rest of the Gallagher's have relationships. Speaking of relationships, again, Mickey is a prick.

Who's that actress playing the teacher? she looked familiar... 2 bad she won't be back (unless Lip tracks her down, he should liked her)
