... And Carl's just being Carl!

Carl, that dude is a mess!
Yes, Deb has always been very level-headed, dependable, etc. But teenage girls will be girls... I think it's very realistic that she would start to get boy-crazy and also- given her family- that she would go at it whole hog. But I wouldn't be surprised to see her get some bad consequences and learn her lesson.
Personally, as admirable as Deb is, I've always thought Fi was the most shameless of them all. While she may be a bit loose re: drinking/drugging and sex, given her family you'd expect that and even much worse. However, she's been very selfless to almost always put her family first before her own needs/desires. Many in her situation would have got the h*ll out of there as soon as they turned 18, if not before. She's also had to make some really tough choices and do some pretty heinous things to protect her family. But she always comes through for them. Remember, she had the choice to leave all that chaos and drama behind and go away w/ Jimmy (and almost did), but chose to stay- and I choose to believe that her main reason for staying was b/c she couldn't leave those kids. Given the family she grew up in, I think she shows a remarkable amount of character.
In fact, I think that one of the main reasons I like this show: all of the kids, despite their rough environment, show a lot of character- even Carl at times. Yes, they have their faults, but they are much less than expected. Contrast them w/ Karen, who's home life, while less-than-ideal, was miles ahead of the Gallaghers- and look at what a selfish, self-centered B she became. But I really like this show b/c it shows that humans have the capability to rise above their circumstances.
