Sorry about this post since it's probably been asked at different times but not all these grouped together. I'm trying to help a friend out who lives in Dallas and needs to get a projector. Being happy with my RS1, I haven't really followed the newer releases that closely. Here's what is being suggested to him:
> Epson 8350
> Epson 8700
> Mitsubishi 6800
> Panasonic PT-AE4000U
> Sony VPL-HW15 SXRD
And wouldn't you have to consider a used JVC unit in that same price range? I've only had experience with the RS1 and the AE-2000 and both are nice performers.
What's the best performer from above?
Anyone in Dallas that can give this guy demo of any of the above?
