Toshiba Home Theatre 50h71 turns on but it is just a black screen. When I try to push input or change the channel it flashes the message "not available". I bought it from a good will and the remote was not included. How do I fix this?
1. What cables do you have attached to the inputs?
2. Using the RF input, assuming you have a signal cable (OTA or CATV, no box) attached, have you entered the menu and did a channel scan (search) for stations?
If you see a on screen message, the sets DMD and lamp are working.
