Question on PAL DVD Playback on Plasma

Thread Starter
I have the Seagate FAT+ which I use to play media, including PAL DVD images. I currently have a 120Hz refresh LCD and a 60Hz LCD. I have no issues playing PAL with the 120Hz but with the 60Hz Sony XBR6, I had to turn off some motion flow thing to stop the stuttering of the picture.

My question is how well do the Samsung and LG handle the PAL? I find articles on 24p, but I'm not sure if this is the same thing as PAL, etc. I'd prefer a plasma this time around and would like to get the LG 50PK950, but the deal breaker for plasma would be inability to handle PAL.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

If your playback device converts PAL to NTSC, the problem should not be any worse than on your current LCD. The 24p playback has nothing to do with PAL as the standards in Europe have always been different than in North America.
