According to a leaked marketing survey DirectTV's NFL Sunday ticket could potentially be coming to streaming IPTV devices like GoogleTV, Roku and Boxee. The survey which was uncovered by Engadget HD claims the expensive seasonal television package which currently goes for $300+ could also be opening itself to weekend access via a $20 Sunday ticket for those with a fear of commitment.

Assuming there will be an NFL season next year of course... Hopefully NFL ticket supports the consoles or netflix too. I think netflix should go after sports since hollyweird studios are tightening the screws on them

Engadget didn't "discover" the survey, it's all over the place. I took it as well as a lot of other people. The link to it has been posted on some other sites so anyone who wanted to could participate.

Any updates to this happening this year now that the lockout is over? Directv did offer the package online only to non Directv subs but there was no compatibility to Roku, AppleTV, etc.
