here's the issue:
Onkyo TX-SR604 Receiver will no longer acknowledge either of my Blu-Ray players, an Insignia and a Panasonic. I've had troubles connecting in the past, but now it seems to be permanent. I have two other HDMI devices that work perfectly fine running through the receiver.
I started by hooking both Blu-Ray players directly to the TV via HDMI, works just fine. Connect each via HDMI through my Receiver, still "No Signal". Tried switching out the HDMI cable, still nothing. Tried switching HDMI ports on the Receiver, nothing.
So obviously it just doesn't "see" these Blu-Ray players. What I'm trying to figure out is the Blu-Ray player or the Receiver to blame for not shaking hands. Clearly the I want to avoid having to replace the Receiver unless that is definitely the problem.
