How to get the "Jitter" out of my LN46C630 on ESPN HD

Hey guys,

I just bought this tv, and have it calibrated the way that I want for the pictures, but, when I am watching ESPN HD and the bottom line is scrolling during a fast action event, it is blurry and jitters across the screen. Called geek squad and they said that it might be the channel and the hz couldn't keep up with the screen, that is the whole reason I bought a 120 hz tv!!

Anything I can change on the tv to fix this? Anyone else have this problem?

turn off auto motion, and any other motion enhancement.

but, if I turn that off, would that disable the 120hz capabilities on the TV?

The TV ALWAYS refreshes at 120HZ. Auto Motion Plus is just frame interpolation (adding of frames for smooth motion), and is seperate from refresh rate (120hz).

What you're probably seeing, though, is the de-interlacing having issues with the horizontal scrolling text, which is normal, and you can adjust. Go into either Advanced settings or Picture Options in the Video Settings menu, and change the Film Mode. It's normally on AUTO2 by default, but try switching it to AUTO 1 (which might make the jittering text worse, actually), or switch it to OFF when you watch that channel. Otherwise, you're supposed to leave it on for interlaced (480i, 1080i) content.
