Harmony One and Sony Bluray input problems

Here's what I have. Panasonic S2/Directv hd-dvr/Sony Bluray home theater BDV-e770w. Everything connected to Tv with HDMI cables. Viera link on tv is disabled and control for hdmi on bluray is off. I have two activities on my Harmony one

(1)WATCH TV/SURROUND- hd dvr turns on, tv turns on and goes to hdmi 1, and bluray turns on and goes to tv input

(2)WATCH MOVIE- hd dvr turns off, tv turns on and goes to hdmi 2, and bluray turns on and goes to bd/bdv input.

The bluray cycles thru it's on preset inputs which are
BD/DVD
D.Media
TunerFM
TV
Sat/Cable
Audio

The problem I'm having is going from the WATCH MOVIE activity to the WATCH TV/SURROUND activity. The bluray cycles from BD/DVD thru each input but instead of stopping at TV it goes to SAT/Cable. I can temporarily fix the problem with the Harmony one troubleshoot or help button, but after switching activities a few more times it starts skipping the tv input again. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Sony usually has discrete input commands, so I'd switch to input method 2 if possible so it doesn't have to cycle at all.

the input method 2 didn't seem to work any better. It pretty much threw everything out of sync and I had to use the help button every time I change activities. When the bluray cycles thru inputs it's not a big deal to me because it cycles quick. The Sony remote I have has a function button that cycles thru the bluray inputs and input method 1 seems to work the best except for the one issue of passing up the tv input and going to sat/cable.

Just make sure that both activities have type 2 discrete input as the method for changing inputs or else the remote might get lost is one activity is direct to "hdmi 2" and the other cycles through the inputs. Had the same problem with my Vizio TV but now it works flawlessly.
