Otherwise go with the i3 2100 or 2105. No need to get the "T" version unless you need the low profile CPU heatsink which I don't think you do.
Ok, I'm going to order that ssd tonight. I really need to decide on a case.
I'm thinking this one SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum / 0.8mm SECC Grandia Series GD05B micro from new egg. I have an external bluray drive so I'm thinking maybe there is a LCD screen that can fit where the DVD drive usually goes? Any one know of a good one with IR receiver? I will use my free standing Samsung Blu ray player for playback but will likely want to rip owned blurays to my hard drive.
I want to pick up the i3 and mother board tomorrow at Micro Center. Which motherboard should I get to accommodate 2 dual tuner cards for four ATSC tuners total?
Im not sure what board has two pci express slots.
Would 2 of these tuners work? Hauppauge 1229 WinTV-HVR-2250 White Box
Is there a better /cheaper alternative for 4 atsc
For ram is there any difference between the G. Skill rip jaw X. And the regular rip jaws. G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
They are the same price at new egg
And finally; Power supply? Fan less & modular preferred. Or really quite one that fits the case.
SeaSonic X series SS-400FL Active PFC F3 400W ATX12V Fanless 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Any help on all of this would be great. I just signed up for the guides. I could not find much on hardware selection beyond the free guide?
