These are just 3 wire fans with tach output. There are very few 120mm PWM fans. Diverge used a 140mm PWM fan in his modified Lian Li PC-Q16 build.
There are a few 120mm Thermal Control fans at reasonable cost such as Gelid 120mm TC type.
For my future reference, how can you tell? I see this fan (and some others) are listed as having both 3 pin and 4 pin connectors, and the 4th pin is required for PWM.
Also a more general question: Will any 4 pin fan support PWM? I thought the pin layout is supposed to be standardized for all fans, so regardless of system a 2 pin fan is a 2 pin fan, etc.
Shopping for fans its hard to tell what 4 pin fans are PWM as only some are labeled with PWM, most aren't. Are there 4 pin fans where the 4th pin is used for something OTHER then PWM speed control?
