No issues with Windows. It will not be able to mount the drive. It will show up as an unformatted disk. So DO NOT click Yes if asked to format it.
But SteelVines will see the controller and treat it as an arbitrary drive that needs to be made SAFE when another drive is plugged into the array.

After I performed the procedure, some kernels of wisdom were posted, like using a flat washer to push the buttons and using the reset button vice plugging in the power cord. Anyway, I have assembled the collected wisdom of the FFP procedure into the attached document. I did not actually use the reset button, but it should work as described in the procedure.
