Today, traveled 200 miles round-trip to get this recorder. It was like brand new, no scratches anywhere and all paperwork, box, and accessories were included.

Probably not a fantastic price, but considering my area is not known for recorder deals, it seemed a worthwhile purchase.

I have never heard of an EH60. The description says it is a PAL system, brand new in the box. If it isn't dual PAL/NTSC, good luck selling it. I have examined the international models for a while, but I have never seen a reference to an EH60 before now.

The manual for the EH60 in the document referenced by your sig talks about an NTSC model, and specifically says it cannot play PAL disks. The box for this one clearly says PAL. Maybe there were multiple models. At any rate, it clearly isn't of anything more than passing interest.

Picked this unit up yesterday for $75. The seller said I could have bought it for less if I dickered, but the guy was unemployed and was totally honest that he purchased it at an estate sale for $20, and that this activity was the only thing keeping him going.

Good job tomwill. An E85 for $75 is a great deal. I won't tell you what I paid for mine, but it was a LOT more!

I too want to thank em-t-wallitt. I appreciate the work. If I didn't already have nine DVD recorders, I might possibly be tempted to take advantage of some of these offers.
