Yamaha YSP-1, Static Blast

I've had my YSP-1 soundbar for about 3 years. Lately, upon being turned on a static blast sound comes from the soundbar lasting around 2-3 seconds. Then there is no sound. I turn off the device and turn it back on and there is the normal sound. Any idea what causes this occurence or how I can fix it?

Have you made changes and/or how do you have it connected today?

No changes have been made to it. Connected using RCA cables. IMO, its all ordinary
