Panasonic 47 inch Rear projection problems

Hey guys,

I have a Panny 47 inch rear projection tv..turned it on this morning and it was just fine...came back this afternoon and color is off balance. There is a pink curve band across the bottom. Tried to converge on the tv but the curve remains and all the letters on tv are double imaged. Now there is a curvey black band on the top and bottom of the screen.

Any thoughts or ideas as to what this problem is?

sorry to sound dumb..but what's a convergence IC? I have done both the convergence that the TV manual talks about..plus I bought a DVD that helps you fine tune the convergence even further..so I know how to do convergence on the TV....

Any help as to what a convergence IC is would be great.
