Yes, definitely. However, setting it up for AVSers only might be difficult. I think the only real way to do that is to create an "AVS-SSX" account, and AVSers can friend that account, and then create the event with the AVS-SSX account as friends-only.
I think you should create one race and one trick event, personally
. For both racing and tricking I'd prefer a level that doesn't have huge amounts of bottomless pits or trees or rocks... you know, those tracks that make you want to pull out all of your hair one hair at a time. And I'd suggest no gear for racing. Make sure to make it last long enough and give some lead time beforehand so people can plan for it.
For racing I'd say anything but JT2 personally since I am totally burned out on that track. Some suggestions: Boris/Diamond Back, Wakefield/Last to Hit, Makalu/Serenity or Trickypedia, Silverthrone/Unsanctioned.
For tricking, again anything but JT2 and probably excluding Serenity since that gets a lot of play. I don't really have any great suggestions here since I am more of a racer than a tricker.
Last, while I like the idea, I wonder how many people we could pull in from here for such an event. We probably want to have at least 10... not sure how many AVSers from the PS3 side are still playing regularly enough to want to participate?
