Looking for a 42" LCD

Hey everyone, I bought a Vizio E421VA from Sams Club a few months ago and will be returning it in a few weeks because the picture is terrible.

Can someone suggest to me a 42" TV that is good for gaming (xbox360) and watching DVDs (through the xbox360). I don't care what brand it is as long as it is a major one.

My price budget is max of $700. TIA.

My recommendation based on personal experience:

I like the Sony 40HX701 I just got from Sam's. Price is right at your max, 2" diagonal smaller but picture is phenomenal! It also has internet!

Read the thread on it. Mostly positive posts.

Only available online for shipping from Sam's. Not in my local stores but yours could be different. Perhaps at a Sony Outlet store if you have one.
