Wow, I didnt want to hurt anybody....
My experience in silverscreen is with a Harkness 240 which comes right after Steward's in professional quality.
I spent over 500 euros in this 2 meter wide screen. Believe me, that was a very bad experience. Hot spot and screen grain that ruins full HD picture quality.
I totally agree with BlackShark about screen grain:
Unless you are seated over 6-10 meters away from the screen, it is a deal breaker for me as I am seated 3 meters away.
The hot spotting I was getting speaks for itself:
The ghosting was in the expected range of 100-120:1, while I am getting over 200:1 with my dolby3D filters. Not as high as I wanted because of my very short throw projectors that render a slight color shift, hence ghosting, in the corners. It has to be mentionned that Infitec/Dolby claim a 1000:1 ratio, in theory.
Of course I have not tried *all* available silverscreens on the market. You may be luckier than me...
